A note from the Parents’ Assocation:
Each year we undertake a number of different fundraising events. Here’s a brief description of them:
We like to hold a pub quiz earlier in the year, which is always a great night and raises a decent amount of funds.
Clothes collections are held a couple of times over the course of the year, which are very successful and draw in well-needed cash.
We hold at least one cake sale, with books and other items of bric-a-brac and we are thankful to all who support these too.
The First Holy Communion Breakfast is another annual event that needs hands and helpers, and we thank all those who lend a hand each year and give cakes and sandwiches generously. This is a proud tradition the Parents’ Association maintains and will hopefully continue for years to come.
The new addition to our repertoire of fundraising occasions is the Sponsored Walk in Farran Woods and is most enjoyable for all those who can make it. We also hold a Hallowe’en party for the children and throughout the year we cater for various events like Sciath na Scol and Christmas.
Thanks again for your support.
